Gecko Bond Top is an ideal series for lamination of polyolefins, providing very good adhesion and excellent printability.

Application

It can also be used for laminates based on PETCHEM or surface printing jobs that do not require high blocking resistance or similar properties.

  • Excellent printability in full and half-tones.
  • Low solvent retention.
  • Excellent adhesion on OPP Very good bond strengths on polyolefin laminates.
  • Very high bond strengths on PETchem (in combination with Xtreme white - see special white portfolio)
  • Suitable for most print jobs (after adding wax paste)

Suitable Surfaces

  • Printed Film: PE, BOPP, acrylic coated OPP, PETchem.
  • Laminating film: PE, BOPP, cPP, acrylic coated OPP, metallized film and paper.

Additional Information

Due to the Pigment Specific Properties, most speeds are defined by the Gecko Base selection. Other physical properties depend on the type of ink series. Available as a Gecko Bond Top system additive in a single-pigment concentrate and an ink dispersant formulation from ready-made ink or Gecko Base.
