Application

It is used for peat and soil bags with high demands on weather fastness. It is available as a ready-made paint based on monopigmented concentrates and system additives for use in paint dosing systems, or as a modular system.

Additional Information

Most resistance is determined by the selection of the appropriate Gecko Base concentrate and the properties of the pigments they contain. Other physical properties are determined by the color series.

The weatherability of printed materials during outdoor storage depends not only on the choice of ink, but also on a number of other parameters. Therefore, we recommend testing resistors under certain conditions of the end application.

Only weather resistant pigments can be used for the Gecko Base System according to our Technical Information. If standard cyan pigment (PB 15:4) is used to print on packaging for compost or garden soil, special care must be taken to avoid the risk of pigment degradation.

Available as ready-to-use inks or as a dosage recipe in a mixing system, these inks are produced from monopigmented Gecko Base concentrates and Gecko Storm system additive.
